In some browsers, you can play the clips by clicking on the link, but it doesn't work that well over a 56K modem and you can't save the clip to your hard drive.

The best way is probably to download the clip to your hard drive first.  You can do this by right clicking on the link and choosing Save Target As or Save File As.

About Video Files Over the Internet

Video files are extremely large and in order to make them small enough to use over the web, the quality has to be reduced a lot.  This can be done in several different ways and that is why the clips are available in more than one format.

File Formats and What They Will Play In

There are three different formats of video files available on this site - files for Realplayer, files for Windows Media Player and MPEG files.

To play the Realplayer files, you will need Realplayer - it can be downloaded here.  These files are extremely small - many under 1MB.  

To play the Windows Media Player files, you will need Windows Media Player which can be downloaded here.  

The MPEG files are of higher quality and are also of course larger files which will take longer to download.  They will also play in more players, including Windows Media Player.
